Also predates social security. It's the long con for sure.

Why did you do this?

It baffles me that a "news" site with a storm trooper helmet is treated as a source in that tweet.

T the irony of storm troopers being empire drones representing "freedom" of any sort.

Reminds me of Wendy's recruiting campaign "A career at Wendy's serves me right"

This is a better argument to adopt Rust than memory safety or even sane package management.

Okay fine, maybe there are skeletons, but there are definitely no ghosts in the bulkheads.

I don’t by default dislike Americans, but I don’t think I can trust Americans by default anymore.

He got reelected after Jan 6, after project 2025 was released publicly, after “dictator on day one”, after everything.

There are a TON of Americans I deeply respect. But the speed at which you turned your backs on us, and the lack of internal outcry speaks volumes. Over 100 years of cooperation thrown down the drain in less than a single month.

North of North is good

The last time Trump was in power I thought we should get much closer to the EU, potentially as a member

I look at Europe's worker protections and privacy protections as a model we all should follow.

I was out of town the last couple of days and we got a huge snowstorm. When we got home the hot water wasn't working.

I checked the unit, looked up the error code, the issue was the pilot not lighting. The cause was 4' of snow covering the entire exhaust pipe.

I shut down the unit, cleared the snow, built a snow barrier and slope to avoid drifts coming back, then rebooted the unit and it all works!

My sister-in-law is over and she was saying "wow, you're really handy", which is seldom true, so I feel very good tonight.

Plus my wife got a fun picture of me chest deep in the snow shovelling. I'm angling to get it a place on the fridge.

Every night before bed my cat either waits at the bathroom for me or runs into the bathroom at full speed for before bed bathroom time. If I’m up too late he tries to get me to go to bed to keep his routine.

Today he wasn’t there so I just went without him.

After I came out he sat at the door staring at me meowing. My wife convinced me to give him fake bathroom time, so I went to the bathroom and sat down and pet him for a minute or two then left.

Except when I left he just sat at the door, clearly knowing it wasn’t real bathroom time. He’s being yelling and howling since and refuses to come to bed now that I’ve broken our ritual.

Maybe I misheard you guys, my universal translator matrix still needs to see more posts to adjust.

This is my little buddy. He's very loud but very loving.

This is why Riker does not have purchasing authority anymore.

OC - screen caps from Sub Rosa mixed with the old Reefer Madness poster.

I had fun with this one, the halftone effect gave me a lot of trouble.

This post inspired me to try and create a Reefer Madness post. Title based on this trailer.

I had fun with this one, it’s a bit messy though

In my head there was a heavenly light pouring out from the grocery store.

I’ve never used my marker pen before so decided to try it out, I like the feel of it

I don’t often shade with brush pens, and I’m rusty on my lining, but I had fun

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre stepped into the debate over trans rights on Wednesday, saying "biological males" should be banned from women's sports, change rooms and bathrooms.

"Female spaces should be exclusively for females, not for biological males," Poilievre said in Kitchener, Ont.

The Conservative leader made the comments after being asked if, as prime minister, he would introduce legislation to prevent "transgender women" or "biological men" from participating in female sports or entering female prisons and shelters.

"A lot of the spaces … are provincially and municipally controlled, so it is unclear ... what reach federal legislation would have to change them," Poilievre said.

"But obviously female sports, female change rooms, female bathrooms should be for females, not for biological males," he added.
