When we used to order pizza in middle school, kids would fold the slices one on top of the other and eat them like a big sandwich. That was the most popular way to avoid questions about whether they would share it with others. Not to mention, most people snuck to the toilet for feasting.

Sorry, for bad cross posts, but it seems that I can't replace the original URL with new link to yewtu.be video and this is why I got 3 crosspots while trying to fix it.

What about destructible environment, physics, attention to details?

All what I see nowadays are mediocre products in flashy packaging. Consumers seem to prioritize aesthetics over quality; if a game is colorful and visually appealing, it often sells well. Whats up with freedom of jumping on that crate, blowing up that wall, shooting up the props etc.

At times, it feels as though I am confined within an enclosure, where the visuals and sounds serve merely to distract me from this realization.

  • Battlefield 4 / 1 / V - just campaigns. What I remember from playthroughs were nice graphics and cool sound effects.
  • Sniper Elite V2 Remastered - I have done it in few coop sessions with my brother. The ability to finish the full singleplayer campaign in coop is a great feature in games and this is what I look for nowadays.
  • Hellblade: Senua Sacrifice - quite repetitive mechanic, but for story lovers is very fun to sink in
  • Start Wars Battlefront II - similar opinion like for Battlefield series, singleplayer only for me
  • Superliminal - fun game concept
  • Layers of Fear 1&2/Blair Witch - I have rushed these games just for the sake of completion of my backlog titles.
  • The Stanley Parable - comedy gold, frustrating at times, quite short, but highly recommended classic
  • Aperture Desk Job - fun, interactive controller test game from Valve
  • Serious Sam: Double D XXL - classic platformer from Serious Same universe with funny gun upgrades mechanic, with no political correctness

And some free short games/prologues:

  • Outpath: First Journey - relaxing, but kinda simplistic Minecraft wannabe game
  • Ale & Tale Tavern: First Pints - tavern manager game from first person view in medieval times
  • The Riftbreaker: Prologue - solid prologue for strategy game with robots and aliens
  • Helltaker - logic, rogue like game with nice humour
  • The Looker - play The Witness first to get the reference, because this game is a parody
  • Neon Beats - fun platformer, rhytm game
  • Clap Clap - short, horror game
  • Cats Hidden in Paris - find all cats on drawing type of game

Why bother about politics when everything is just a theater. People thinking that voting changes anything still amazes me.

Dont treat politics seriously. It will come one way or another to you in some shape or form. Focus on things which you really can improve/change/work on.

I have Samsung UE40J5200AW and it has that screen mirroring feature. Whenever I try to use to cast from Windows 11 to this TV, the stream stops after few mins of playing.

I have no idea if Samsung doesnt allow to play full screen videos from casting devices or not. I have tried to connect both PC and TV via Ethernet and see if it will help, but its happening all the time.

Whats interesting it also happens when I cast via my lineage os phone and I checked it on different TV and had the same issue.

Whats your ways to cast videos from PC/laptop to TV?

Silly me removed about 70 games from Steam library years ago. Today I have restored most of them via Stem support page and with purchases history.

Ben Werdmuller, a tech leader at ProPublica, discusses the trust crisis in Meta's Threads app after his comment about the Internet Archive's legal issues unexpectedly attracted a hostile audience. He was surprised by accusations of engagement farming, prompting him to question the assumptions behind such claims. Werdmuller discovered that Meta has been paying certain creators up to $5,000 for viral posts, leading to a climate where all content is viewed with suspicion.

While she treats her dog like her "daughter" and showers it with attention, it seems that the same level of care is not extended to the cat. As someone who has never owned a cat, I believe that providing a cat tree to prevent the cat from damaging furniture, along with some toys and daily access to fresh water, would significantly improve the cat's quality of life. Additionally, since the cat enjoys exploring the forest, having a safe space to play and roam is essential.

Today, with temperatures soaring to 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit), she told the cat, "You won’t have wet food; we have to limit it because supplies run out too quickly." At the same time, she did not provide any water. When I inquired about this, she mentioned that the cat could drink from the dog's bowl if it wanted. I expressed my concern that sharing a water bowl could expose the cat to different bacteria and microflora, but this upset her. When I pointed out that not providing water could be considered a form of neglect, she responded that she didn’t want to hear it in her house.

On another occasion, she became frustrated when the cat refused to eat the wet food she offered. In response, she told the cat, as if it could understand, "Now you won’t have any wet food; the bowl will be empty. You have dry food, so eat that." She even instructed us not to give the cat any wet food as a form of punishment.

I am currently confined to the house for the next month due to an injury, and she is my stepmother. Her decision to adopt a cat seems to stem from a desire to alleviate her dog’s loneliness, which is understandable. However, I question whether simply providing food and allowing the cat to explore the forest for a couple of hours is sufficient for its well-being.

Everytime when I visiti parents home it seems that don't care I'm even there. They have their "sports routines", which cannot be stopped. It happens to others too. Most topics revolt around what matches they had, with whom and watch matches in TV. Whenever they go to some holidays they look for sports hall for playing. They take part in exercises with coach, they play occasional games with 20+ friends.

The last time I had some talk, was that one time couple months ago when I brought the board game to improve our family integrity and communication skills, to get to know each other better, but that was once.

I feel that I I know them mostly on the surface level currently.

"Threads is deepening its ties to the fediverse, also known as the open social web, which powers services like X alternative Mastodon, Pixelfed, PeerTube, Flipboard and other apps. On Wednesday, Meta announced that users on Threads will be able to see fediverse replies on other posts besides their own. In addition, posts that originated through the Threads API, like those created via third-party apps and scheduling services, will now be syndicated to the fediverse. The latter had previously been announced via an in-app message informing users that API posts would be shared to the fediverse starting on August 28."

Zuckerberg said senior Biden administration officials "repeatedly pressured" Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, to "censor" content in 2021. "I believe the government pressure was wrong, and I regret that we were not more outspoken," he wrote to House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio). "Like I said to our teams at the time, I feel strongly that we should not compromise our content standards due to pressure from any Administration in either direction -- and we're ready to push back if something like this happens again," Zuckerberg added.
