Why does EVERYONE want to fix Shane, when George is already a menace on wheels? Just don't mess with Evelyn. They have an open marriage, and they based the Fast and the Furious movies on George. You mess with Evelyn, and he's speeding down the valley hunting your ass. Because you messed with his.....family.....
Still torn on Haley and Leah, years later. If Haley didn't exist, Leah would be the obvious choice but Haley is a character that I didn't like at first, that just took me more and more by surprise with every cutscene. And made me realise that there was more to this snob that insulted my clothes when we first met.
Abigail is also my type but comes across as a little on the young side. Haley, Emily and Leah read as late 20s and up to me, Abigail is fresh out of school I'm pretty sure.
Haven't played in a while, actually. Been itching for a playthrough again but need to brace myself for the setting up of mods and completion lists first.
Edit: honestly if I could romance Abigail's mother Caroline and steal her from Pierre, I'd be pretty happy.
I just want to steal products off of Pierre's shelves. He's a smug little shit. Just like George Clooney, the smug bastard!

There are mods, apparently. Horrible, terrible mods that make everything horrible.
My first wife in stardew was Emily, on my next play through it’s. Between Abigail and Maru, as for husband probably Sebastian, part of me wants to see Shane get better but I know I can’t fix him. As far as people I can’t date Robin all the way, they really should make a mechanic that lets you break up relationships but that doesn’t really fit the theme of stardew as a game.
I'm not sure you can't date Robin just because of her relationship. There HAS to be another reason! I mean, Clint is DESPERATELY single, yet you can't date him. Willy is maybe the creepiest first impression I've ever had with a character in any game. I REALLY thought he was trying to rape me. "Come down by the docks alone when it's all dark out. Ol' Willy's got something for ya!" STRANGER DANGER!!! BAD TOUCH! BAD TOUCH! But, still....you can't date him either.
Now WE all know that the Mayor and Marnie are fuckin', but the town doesn't. What's preventing someone from trying to date Marnie? The excuse with the Mayor is that he's the Mayor, and thus shouldn't date residents. Which I always found bullshit. You're a mayor, not a monk. Go get your rocks off and enjoy yourself, ya boxer losing weirdo!
And what about the bartender Gus? As far as I can tell he's single.
And Pam is.......a wildebeast. She will eat raw bark off a tree if it contains alcoholic sugars. I shutter to think of the man that actually impregnated her. Somewhere, out there in the world, SOMEBODY impregnated Pam. Presumably consentually. Someone made the conscious decision that "Yes, I am going to get with that." Linus digs through the trash, and even he wouldn't touch Pam.
And of coarse, nobody dates Pierre because he's a fuckface. Fuck you Pierre! Taking credit for my god damn blueberry wine, and selling at a huge markup. You'd have ZERO quality goods if I didn't sell to you. That's why I STOPPED selling to you. I put my shit in a box, and some system that I don't quite understand gives me money. I think it's Willy. He pulled my unconscious body into bed when I came home late.

The only guy I considered was Elliot, but between the girls it was Leah, Abigail, Haley, or maybe Maru. I wound up with Leah, but it felt like the girls in general were a lot more interesting than the guys.
I wouldn't call Haley a tsundere. Implies she likes you from the beginning
Abigail for gaming or Haley for Tsundere, lol.
My first husband was Harvey, as he's an awkward but kind nerd who's surprisingly romantic, I fell hard for that dude! However, on PC, I started befriending Alex and found him to be far more interesting than the surface would indicate. Thus, my whole ass save on Switch was devoted to romancing Alex, I was genuinely surprised and pleased by this outcome.
Alex is such a sweet guy when you get to know him, plus the Doglover is just a instant pull
I haven't reached the point I'm going to commit to marriage yet but I lean more towards Penny.

Waifus: anyone but Penny and Emily. Husbandos: anyone but Sam and Shane.
That said, if I had to pick tops, I think Leah for Waifu and Elliott for Husbando.
