I wouldn't be surprised, but it's Poland apparently, who in all fairness do have a bunch of struggling farmers because of cheap Ukrainian imports. But this is not the way and I don't see the rest of EU agreeing to this plan anyway. It could be current polish government foresaw that and did this to tell those Polish farmers he is really trying to help them so they don't turn to the PiS candidate but I'm not informed enough on Polish politics to say anything about their motives.
