IIRC pedophilia does not seem to be that much more frequent inside the Catholic Church than outside of it.
The problem the church has is the whole coverup operation every time a priest gets caught diddling a kid.
I found pastors at number 3, behind teachers and music teachers.
oh man so the music teacher when I was in school married his former student. the band trip had a rule of no sex following someone getting caught in a previous year's trip, but the rumour is that it was his fault the rule existed and that they were fucking when she was still a student and during the band trip. Also his son with his previous wife was in the class where we gossiped about this shit. He was also really handsy with the students even on regular days. He retired a year or two after I graduated.
His replacement, I would hear some additional years later, got caught in the act with a student not long after his first child was born.
Ours was the health teacher. It was an open secret that he put the hot girls right up front even though he made it very clear that seating was random. He also enjoyed sex ed topics way too much. I don't think he ever got caught, but he was very weird.
that reminds me, ours too only the teacher was a woman that would do the same but with all the popular 'cute boys'. She even offered to demo how to put condoms on some of them... She was considered the #2 rank in teachers you wanted to bang according to the male students that were vocal about that kind of shit
We had a Cajun teacher that claimed to have magic hands and would hover over girls shoulders, and comment on their feet. Real creep, but to my knowledge never went as far as touching.

Gerrymandering and the deluge of money in politics has allowed Congress to just ignore the people.
I’d think Republican senators would be a better answer. Fewer of them, and they tend to have been in power much longer. The percentage of pedophiles has to be staggering.
