Job description was unclear.

Scumbag politicians. Labour is no longer the Labour party, other than in name. They are Alt Tory. filled with the same shitheads.

Make sure they know that next election. Fuck platitudes and promises, the nu-right must fail.

And how is that going to work?

Imagine grifting both sides of the issue

Tbh homeless fight is literally mockery at this point. The amount of money spend in some US cities over last 20 years could have easily built the public housing and provided mental health support for the transition back into normie life.

But nahj fuck that, let me give this "charity" money so it can provide 4k per month "bed"

Homelessness minister: I'm doing my part!

I've never heard about The iPaper so I checked another source: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/czerl5dy0kgo

Her party's defense is "what she did was legal" despite that they're working on a renter's bill of rights that forbids exactly what she did, which I found quite repulsive.

(She owns three London properties on top of that.)

And this same politician was kicked out of the Grenfell brief due to corpo shenanigans: https://news.sky.com/story/housing-minister-rushanara-ali-loses-brief-after-complaint-by-grenfell-survivors-13237218

If I were to be charitable, she gave them 4 months notice, when the law only requires one, then she tried to sell it and it is still actually on the market at a reduced price. The bulk of the £700 increase, too, is that she was actually initially renting it out at below market value.

However, this is fucking disastrous for image, doubly so given what she's a minister of.

Given the information above, are the headlines overblown and missing very important context? Definitely. Deliberately so, even.

But that's what the media does. And Labour are morons for not preparing for that by vetting their ministers for shit like this.

God they are actually so bad at this. They aren't the Tories, they should know they aren't going to be let off for things like this. They need to be whiter than white. The media wants nothing more than a Conservative or Reform government, and Labour keeps giving them ammo.

She hadn't read 1984 so she didn't know that ministries are named opposite to the thing they are supposed to promote.

News like this accelerates loss of faith in our failed political and economic orthodoxy, so in a way I'm glad to see it.

It's time now for a new and genuine progressive movement to come together and take the fight to Reform. I've signed up to the new Sultana/Corbyn/independent party but I would also recommend supporting a Green party under Zack Polanski, independent candidates who want to collaborate, and grassroots community projects.

Others analysis may differ but mine is that 'the left' is starting to pull together and we should get behind it.
