I know others are like "oh well, anyway" but I remembered playing and enjoying bf3. I've avoided the other titles because of military FPS shooter fatigue.
Now though I'm almost desperate to have something that isn't souls like, but EA has to be EA. It's a shame, because I would've been up for paying the stupid amounts of money they normally charge to experience BF6.
I do have a PS5, but I don't have the monthly subscription (paying for online multiplayer is a mugs game), so I just simply won't buy BF6.
I'll just copy and paste what I wrote elsewhere
I have to say since this whole anti porn in games thing has happened, I've ironically exposed myself to more porn games.
Before I wouldn't imagine playing porn games. Ever since the itch unban, I've tried a few games on itch.io to see what the fuss was about and got absolutely hooked on Queens Brothel - to the point where I've paid for the full version on Patreon.
If the Christian brothers and sisters at Collective Shout wanted less people exposed to porn games, lol. lmao even.

Is there other platforms that are out there estimating our ages?
I know the whole age gate thing - being in the UK, believe me, I know. I've just never had a service go "we can't show you content. No, don't tell us your age, we'll work it out from the data we've collected from you".
That's a whole new one for me, I must admit.
This comment is pure poetry. I actually want to have it on my wall, with a beautiful frame.
I saw that and went “fuck right off”
Unfortunately that would involve using the Brave browser, which is an antifeature in itself.
I think IRC wins by being around the longest, but also being dead simple to set up and use.
I tried using Matrix and it just honestly frazzled my head a little. I know it's just a few extra steps to get registered, but it honestly feels like a few extra bits of friction to what amounts to trying to join a big social circle.
I left during the Reddit API nonsense, I wasn't even aware Reddit was banning people.
I guess I had to stay longer for all that, which I refused to do.
Honestly that would seem like the most common sense idea that anyone would/could draw up from this, and for the most part I think this is what the gov is trying to do.
I think there's an unstated side effect from the Online Safety Act which nobody seems to be talking about - using the new powers to effectively censor Palestinian protests online.
You can read about it some more: https://www.openrightsgroup.org/press-releases/human-rights-defenders-raise-concerns-that-online-safety-act-will-lead-to-censorship-of-palestine-protest/
I've genuinely never felt so depressed about voting in this government in my entire life. Actual gross dystopian bullshit.
