I think that I've got very sensitive skin so I feel them tugging already after a few shaves

That's great! Although I'd strongly recommend changing blades more often. They are so cheap that they are not worth overextending like that. Your face deserves better

He's still butthurt about their last meeting

Entirely too late.

This should have been done two years ago. The EU seems to be making all the right decisions but taking way too long to settle on them and implement them

DE-razor I shave with a new blade every second shave and it's still cheaper than any other shaving method that I've tried. On top of that the shaving soap last for ages (literally years) and the shaving experience is fantastic if you get the right razor.

Don't go down the fancy road to start with though. I have some expensive stuff that I don't use and have fallen for a cheap razor from temu and proraso green soap. Also just a nylon brush works fine for me to lathe up the soap

In a true communist system, isn't the idea, that homes should be free? Dropping prices seems like a step in that direction for them

Risking being cut off if you don't allow a trade with Trump or accept to be annexed by the USA is part of my quality assessment for the service

I don't see it as philanthropy. That would be donating money or doing business with him that you could have done somewhere else for a better price or better quality

It sounds like the business was straight up better and more secure with Elons competition.

Diplomacy is dropping one option without it knowing why

Main story: Greenland’s state-owned telecom company Tusass has decided to partner with the French satellite operator Eutelsat rather than Elon Musk’s Starlink to improve internet access in East and North Greenland.

Key points:

Goal: The deal aims to provide better and faster internet in remote areas like Tasiilaq, Ittoqqortoormiit, and Qaanaaq, which currently lack fiber or radio link connections.

Technology: Tusass will use Eutelsat’s OneWeb low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellites, which orbit closer to Earth and offer better connectivity for isolated regions.

Benefits:

Improved communication for local communities.

Support for critical infrastructure, such as maritime safety and emergency services.

Enables satellite-based mobile internet for search-and-rescue operations and ships.

Why not Starlink?

Tusass had been negotiating with Starlink, but chose Eutelsat instead.

Tusass’ CEO, Toke Binzer, said the decision was based on an existing, trusted relationship with Eutelsat — not because one company is “better.”

Tusass is under a confidentiality agreement (NDA) with Starlink, so it can’t share details, but the company hasn’t fully closed the door on future talks with Musk’s firm.

Wider context:

Greenland’s government wants to retain control over its critical telecom infrastructure and avoid becoming dependent on private foreign companies.

A 2023 Greenlandic government report warned that liberalizing the telecom market could risk losing national control over supply security.

The Danish government also recently announced new investments in European space independence — to reduce reliance on U.S. and SpaceX satellites.

In short: Greenland is prioritizing sovereignty and reliability by expanding its partnership with France’s Eutelsat rather than Starlink. The move strengthens internet access in remote communities while keeping telecom infrastructure under Greenlandic control

In most places the two are the same and assumed to be the same.

I realize that this is not the case in USA and I also realize that America voting is very complicated

What we then can agree on is that American democracy is not democratic witch maybe makes it even more depressing

They have some requirements though

This baby girl is currently being hand fed because her mother died the day after she was born. No surviving siblings either. We're trying to get her up to speed with hand feeding and she's growing pretty well!

We're housing her with an elderly female who seems to be ok with her being around.

I live in EU where fish medications can be hard to get by. Therefore i treat most issues with salt. The question is:

Can i use salt for water treatment systems in fish tanks?

From what i see, it is pure salt although a bit larger crystals than regular salt.

I have been using salt for ponds up til now, but it can be hard to find, especially during winter seasons, and also fairly expensive compared to filter salt.

I have been trying to de-google and de-meta my life, but although i haven't had facebook for a year and a half, i need it for work. Also i do miss marketplace, and some niche groups.

i have been thinking to setup a used android phone, that runs a new google account, that is not related to my (still at use google account). (as hard as i try, some profiles can't be unlinked to google once you have linked them).

Anyway - my concern is, that i'd still be trackable, even if i leave it at home and only use it when i need to use it. Won't meta eventually be able to link my identity to my nework, IP, location etc?

What would be the best way to go around this?

And what to do with secutiry verifications where they as for your phonenumber or to confirm, your ID with an SMS?
