I'm not a TikTok user, but I've been shown some very funny clips on there. I think there is some good content and creativity happening on there. But I think the constant scrolling through short clips is doubtlessly terrible for people's minds. Not to mention the algorithmic control, limits on speech, etc.

What are some loanwords (originated in another language and usually retains original spelling in equivalent english) for concepts, things, or experiences that English doesnt necessarily have yet? in c/asklemmy@lemmy.ml
