small note: my comment was removed by admins as an automated thing, no idea if I was report-bombed or not. I also received a warning.

I sent a plea and it was restored, and the warning removed.

Honestly I have the feeling there are so many untold stories about subreddit moderators... It's really opaque. If you get banned etc nobody can really see it because it's hidden, so you never have any possibility to see if a ban is justified or not, it's like a secret court.

I wish the moderation history, like bans, comment removals etc were public. It would be hilarious.

And reddit admins explicitly tell moderators they cannot allow criticism of other subreddit moderators, which reinforce this bubble problem. If you get banned in one sub, you LITERALLY cannot talk about it on reddit, it's really insane, it's really shady, that stuff only happens in dictatorships.

I don't know what the users said, maybe they deserved to be removed, but it's still ironic

I cannot wait for reddit going public, it's going to generate so much drama, that's going to be soooo good.

Lemmy instances brace yourself

not going to trust a website that makes money from repairing phones

also a lot of armchair battery scientists in here

that sweet copium around here, even on lemmy, that's so sweet

Foobar2000 has been here for YEAAAARS, and I don't think there is a good enough equivalent for linux, and by that I mean playlist tabs, global shortcuts, etc

My sister can’t afford a house

And she thinks it’s her fault

She says if she worked harder

She’d have money in the vault

And my mother needs a surgery

Her hand’s always in pain

But she fell ill last April

And used up all her sick days

[Verse 2]

They say, the homeless need to disappear

Extract them like a tumor

A stain on our society

They’re all broken consumers

Don’t try to put the blame on us

They ruined their own lives

It’s not our fault they got hooked

On drugs that we prescribed

[Chorus]

Em Stars for the silver spoons

Em Stripes for the poor

Em Stars for the nightly news and

Em Stripes if you oppose the war

Stars if you steal the land

Stripes if you take a stand

Stars if you march in time

Stripes if you don’t fall in line

[Verse 3]

We send our babies off to school

Our children are the future

Then teach them how to hide

Beneath their desks for active shooters

Oh we could make a difference

If we weren’t so fucking tired

But who’s got time to fight

When you’re just trying to survive

[Chorus]

Em Stars for the silver spoons

Em Stripes for the poor

Em Stars for the nightly news and

Em Stripes if you oppose the war

Stars if you steal the land

Stripes if you take a stand

Stars if you march in time

Stripes if you don’t fall in line

[Bridge]

They want a standing ovation

For the hero nation but

Why should we when

The man on the corner

Begging for a quarter

Lost his legs on your orders

[Chorus]

Em Stars for the silver spoons

Em Stripes for the poor

Em Stars for the nightly news and

Em Stripes if you oppose the war

Stars if you steal the land

Stripes if you take a stand

Stars if you march in time

Stripes if you don’t fall in line

Don't fall in line

le hamas n'a pas signé la convention de genève, donc niveau civils, ils se mettent à coté d'eux

[–] hairinmybellybutt@lemmy.world -1 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Ces coupures c'est pour empêcher le Hamas d'en profiter, meme aujourd'hui le Hamas s'empare de l'aide humanitaire, les palestiniens l'ont beaucoup dit.

https://edition.cnn.com/2023/11/07/opinions/israel-hamas-gaza-not-war-crimes-spencer/index.html

https://www.cfr.org/podcasts/laws-war-matthew-waxman
