Laut ersten Prognosen hat die CDU die Kommunalwahl in Nordrhein-Westfalen mit 34 Prozent klar gewonnen. Die AfD kommt nach fünf Prozent im Jahr 2020 nun auf 16,5 Prozent.

Bei der Kommunalwahl in Nordrhein-Westfalen wird die CDU laut ersten Prognosen mit 34 Prozent stärkste Kraft. Dahinter kommt die SPD, die 22,5 Prozent der Stimmen erhielt. Auf Platz drei liegt die AfD mit 16,5 Prozent. Damit hat sie ihr Wahlergebnis gegenüber der Wahl 2020 verdreifacht: Damals hatte die AfD fünf Prozent der Stimmen erhalten.

Die Christdemokraten liegen damit ungefähr bei ihrem historisch schlechten Kommunalwahl-Ergebnis von 2020, als die CDU 34,3 Prozent erreichte. Auch die Sozialdemokraten müssten im Vergleich zu 2020 leichte Einbußen hinnehmen. Vor fünf Jahren hatte die SPD einen historisch niedrigen Stimmenanteil von 24,3 Prozent.

Auf der Regisseurin Mascha Schilinski liegen große Hoffnungen. Mit ihrem Film "In die Sonne schauen" soll die Berlinerin einen der begehrten Oscars nach Hause bringen. Das Drama wurde als deutscher Beitrag ausgewählt, wie German Films, die Auslandsvertretung des deutschen Films, in München mitteilte. Es setzte sich gegen vier weitere Bewerberfilme durch.

"In die Sonne schauen" erzählt die Geschichten von vier jungen Frauen, die zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten auf einem Bauernhof in der Altmark leben. Es geht um Alma (1910er Jahre), Erika (1940er), Angelika (1980er in der DDR) und Nelly (2020er). Das Drama handelt von häuslicher Gewalt, verdrängten Sehnsüchten und vererbten Traumata, die die Frauen erleben. Bei den Filmfestspielen in Cannes wurde Schilinski mit dem Preis der Jury ausgezeichnet.
