Which is honestly a good thing, it's so much better than instructions that are like click here -> drag to the left -> open a three level deep menu -> check the box -> reopen that menu -> click go. Or even worse, instructions that are a video

My favorite keyboard is a 1995 ish Leading Edge DC2214 I have, but its switches started going bad so I'm using the dell until I get around to repairing it. It's so nice though, it has alps white switches and n key rollover unlike the 2 key rollover the dell has in some places. It's also just such a nice shape and nice color.
I got a $12 10 inch Asus eeepc 1005ha that I have NetBSD with i3 on and it's perfectly usable, so something similar to that would probably be fine for linux cli stuff as long as a 32 bit cpu is okay
Most of my peripherals honestly, my monitors are all 10-20 years old, my keyboard is a like 30 year old Dell AT101W, I only replaced my old Logitech G35 headphones when they literally fell to pieces

Technically the 49 is algebraic by default but I don't think I've done a single operation in that mode
I think it happens because of the address bar being on the bottom so the bottom of the page moves when you scroll and the address bar hides. It's probably a result of some buggy javascript on the website because I have a site with a just plain CSS sticky footer and it doesn't happen there but I see it on other sites pretty often
