I wouldn't say I can't stand it, but I've grown to hating movies with The Rock in them. Not cause his acting sucks, but because it's the same shit with different special effects. But I enjoyed the Scorpion King, and Get Smart

All the supposed comics - Will Ferrell, Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, Steve Martin, etc. Even a lot of Jim Carrey's stuff - the humor is sophomoric at best.
Tawny Kitaen and Alex Kingston. I can't stand them, they're nails on a blackboard. It's why I gave up on NuWho. Gal Gadot, but that's mostly because her acting is wooden and characters uninteresting.
I hate him too except in the Lego movie. The serious turn at the end was kind of refreshing for him. I'll try Stranger That Fiction and see if I like it, since a fellow Will Farrell hater says it's good.
Additionally, I kind of hated Nicholas Cage until I saw The Color Out of Space which prompted me to actually learn a little more about him and figure out what he's even doing. Turns out I was mistaken, not just about him but kind of about film
Gonna take it in a slightly different direction and pivot the question to music. And in that case, Red Hot Chili Peppers, it's time to stop. I get it, it was cool and unique. But now, it all sounds the same, and you headline every festival ever and I can't enjoy the same 5 songs being crammed down my throat for the next 5 decades to come still. Please stop. I know you "can't stop", but please, please, stop.
Shia Labeouf. Generally I dislike him as an actor and almost everything he's been in.
But he was great in lawless which is one of my favorite movies.
Will Ferrell for sure.
Vin Diesel. Nothing against the guy personally, but his whole dumb guy thing just irks me.
I think I'm with you on Will Ferrell. Quite often his parts are just...obnoxious?
Similarly, most of the time I just can't with Ben Stiller because his shtick seems to be second hand embarrassment.
I'd agree Will ferrel sucks but The Oblongs was one of the best adult cartoons ever.
Kira Sedgwick for decades, though I could never explain why — just something visceral in me. But her role as Wuntch (which ironically was supposed to make you hate her) on Brooklyn 99 was awesome, and I’ve enjoyed her work past and present ever since.
I wonder if Will Farrell dislike is a generational thing? I grew up on Will Farrell in SNL and A Night at the Roxbury and loved every second of it.
On the other hand, Bill Murray was before my time, and I haven't liked anything he's done.
Gérard Depardieu is one of the worst representatives of his own species.
He's also one of the best actors.
I've always wondered about those brilliant actors being idiots and/or assholes. How can they at the same time show (what I believed to be) such deep understanding of their fellow humans? Or is it just pure mimicry, without any intelligence and empathy?
Ya know I'm a Star Trek fan from way back, but William Shatner makes me cringe all the time these days.
Fuck (and I cannot emphasize this enough) fuck Timothy Chalamet. He is always so wooden. He can't act for shit. Hes just a very pretty nepo baby.
Also, can we count film makers? I hate Christopher Nolan. Every movie he makes is such a torturous slog. They are all metaphors for their own creation, and everyone of them is too concerned with the machinery, like hes pretentiously drawing attention to it. "GET IT? IM MAKING A MOVIE? IM A FUCKING GENIUS!"
Jim Carrey in Eternal Sunshine.
He's OK in other stuff but it's not my bag unless it's the fucking mask 👌
John C Riley is an uncomfortable mess in everything he's in and I cannot stand it. The exception is everything he's in, which is delightfully uncomfortable.
Marky Mark, no exceptions.
