I hate reddit as much as the next guy but from time to time I find myself searching in subreddit like newborns, New parents etc. These subreddits do have a lot of experience shared from the past which has not yet come over to lemmy. And now reddit is pulling this subscription shenanigans I'm like WTF??

You could just walk out during lectures , that's very mature of the faculty. In my school, teachers would think we are insulting them by walking out without their permission.

Hey people, during my school years, we always had to ask the teacher to go to the bathroom. Like "May I use the bathroom?", if they said no we were left to our devices which I think is inhumane.( Was a victim myself) What do you guys think especially the teachers about this system considering how difficult it is to manage classroom discipline?

Priming the Instagram reels, that's how I discovered feng shui, b grade movies, sewing etc. But imo scrolling is a big time waster. That's why I uninstall it from time to time.

What the hell I didn't even know this existed. I just chose all posts and thought I was seeing the aggregate content from every instance. Also, Seeing the usernames (with different instances on it), it made me believe everyone's interactions are saved and visible.

I want to create an incremental search function for a language. It has to show the same result when I use either Devnagri or English ( how it sounds) For example : 'Kya' should show क्या , 'क्या' should show क्या

Please suggest some guide or tutorial, I am okayish in programming and open to learning
