I have been to a Trigema outlet last year and couldn't find anything i would like to wear. Sure they had shirts in every imaginable color, but only one form factor. The whole lineup seems to be catered to people 60+ years of age. The quality seems to be very good though.

Also, the founder Wolfgang Grupp is kind of cringe and very conservative, probably as well as his children who run the company now. Since he stepped down as CEO he regularly visits talkshows to display his antiquated world views.

Would be great to see some major distros shipping with KDE by default. Fedora e.g. had this idea a little while ago.

There are some Raspi competitors offering SBCs with RISC-V chips, there is even a RISC-V Mainboard for the framework laptops, but the last time I checked they sadly didn't reach the performance levels of comparable ARM chips.

Switched from a raspberry pi 3 to a second hand x86 thin client (lenovo thinkcentre m920q) because raspberry pi 4 were not available at the time. Made me learn proxmox and a bunch of other cool stuff my raspi couldn't handle.

I'm rooting for ARM / RISC-V to become more popular in desktop computing / servers though.

I have thought so as well for a long time, but i think at this point we would benefit more from contributions to existing clients like heroic, enabling achievements or further work / native reimplementation of the savegame syncing.

Hallo Leute,

Wie bereits hier erwähnt fände ich es gut einen bot zu haben, der wie der DEBOT in der alten Nachrichten Community auf feddit.de die hiesigen Nachrichten Communities versorgt. Und da kommt der tagesschaubot ins Spiel.

Als kurzen Test habe ich den verlinkten Account erstellt und ihn die letzten Meldungen aus dem Ressort Inland der Tagesschau in die Test-Community posten lassen (sorry dass es gleich 50 Stück waren, der Bot merkt sich natürlich was er schon gepostet hat und was nicht, in dem fall war halt noch nichts da lol). Von der Anzahl und dem Inhalt der Posts im Ressort Inland DE kommt es schätze ich dem sehr nahe, was der DEBOT bisher so gemacht hat (Ich denke es wurde der gleiche Feed verwendet), also ca. 5-10 Posts am Tag.

Interesse

Besteht an sowas Interesse? Die Tagesschau hat auch noch andere Feeds mit denen man andere Communities versorgen könnte, bspw.

Inland für Nachrichten (DE)

Europa für Nachrichten (EU)

Rest der Welt für Nachrichten International (hier müsste man schauen ob man die EU-Artikel rausfiltern kann / will)

Regionale Meldungen für die Bundesländer

Themenspezifische Feeds wie Technik, Klimawandel, Politik, etc. für bestimmte Communities

Das meiste spielst sich denke ich aber im Ressort Inland ab, dabei würde ich es vorerst auch belassen.

Deployment

An sich kann ich den Bot hier bei mir daheim auf meinem Heimserver laufen lassen. Er läuft auf Basis von Nodejs. Das einzige was er tut ist in regelmäßigen Abständen 2 APIs abfragen (Tagesschau und feddit.org) und neue posts erstellen wenn es neue Artikel gibt. Wenn die admins / mods / fediverse Menschen Ideen für ein anderes Deployment haben (bspw. als cloud function) bin ich dafür natürlich offen.

Glaubt ihr ich sollte / muss mich hier bei der Tagesschau melden oder einfach mal ungefragt machen? Würde mich über Feedback aus der Fediverse community zu folgendem Abschnitt freuen:
