That's correct, that's why it wasn't the only one I mentioned. Grayjay is so damn reliable. Louis Rossmann is crazy and got grayjay on the freaking Google play store. Lmao

Great recommendation. I always get cheap cloths from goodwill and other charity places. You can find great t-shirts and pants there for real cheap. Good "brands", too.

Facebook market place has a ton of cheap things. I bought two 27" 4k HDR monitors for $130 from there. Those monitors are literally $1100 new. I bought my GPU for $100, and it's $380 new. People buy shit they don't need and upgrade in a year, too. It's fucking insanity. Check it out if you have an account. I use my wife's.

Try Revanced manager. Or Tubular. Or FreeTube. Or Grayjay...... There are so many. Even for android tv. There is YouTube next

Here here. Just do a quick search on how to use it. Basically, download a YouTube APK on a browser and patch it in the app. That's it.

Bruh, only amazon does this? Is this country really this weird? Isn't that like every.single.corporation???

I already barely buy shit. I've always said "if the economy hinged on my purchasing habit, the country would go bankrupt". People in general should start living within their means without any protest. It's good for everyone and also will make corporations slow down on killing this planet.

Does overdrive have only audio books or regular books, too?

[–] penquin@lemm.ee 1 points 1 day ago (8 children)

You can buy those books (if possible) from the publisher directly and load them onto your Kobo via a computer.

I just checked them out and they have really low PPI on the one I want, the inkpad lite. It's 150 PPI. That's too low and would drive me insane.

I've searched everywhere and nowhere does anyone mention that kobo runs android. It runs an actual Linux based OS, not android. I know android uses the Linux kernel but that is not the same as an actual Linux OS. It doesn't matter anyway, their shit is wide open and you can do whatever the hell you want to you kobo

For me, anything 25 FPS or higher is 100% fine and I'll be enjoying my time. I never play competitive online shooter games ever, though. All single player ones like GOW and the likes. I game on a 60 Hz 4k monitor. GPU is AMD RX 6600 alongside Ryzen 7 5700G and 32GB RAM. My games are set to meduim most of the time at 4k. Demanding titles are on low. Surprisingly, GOW and GOW Ragnarok are both set to ultra and I still get around 40ish FPS.

Are we? Seems like GPUs are not available on launch, or even after a long while. Scalpers are at it again. Should I not wait and look into the used market?

I've tried all the "font detectors" online and none of them gave me the name of the actual font. They all looked kinda the same but they're not the same font. Could someone please identify it and let me know? Thank you in advance.
EDIT: Here is the site where I found it. Please ignore the content. It's a long story

Hi all, I'm kind of confused on this. My cat eats very slowly all day long. She'd go to her food bowl constantly throughout the day for a couple of bites and then back to whatever she does. I think we spoil her by making her food available at all times, my wife doesn't think so. She throws up here and there and I'm thinking because she eats too much. So, my question to you all is, how often do you feed your cat? Do you fill its bowl all day like me? Do you have specific times of the day where you give them a certain amount each time and nothing in between? I'm leaning towards doing the latter. Give her, let's say, half a cup in the morning and let her munch on it as much as she wants and the other half in the evening and nothing in between. She freaks out when her bowl is empty and starts crying and acting like she's about to die of starvation. Give her food, then she takes one bite and leaves. Bro, wtf. Lol. So any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Could anyone please suggest a good micro SD card that is reasonably priced and is great for the steam deck? You go to Amazon and you find a gazillion brand with many different prices. Plus all the horror stories I've seen online with all the fake storage people buy from Amazon. So, if you guys have a suggestion I'd really appreciate some links/names. I'm open for best buy and micro center and even Walmart if I needed to. I'm looking for a 1TB card and I don't care about the brand as long as it works well. Thank you all in advance.

Did he? Or was it like that even back then? I'm reading this book, and it's like a carbon copy of our world in the US nowadays. I keep yelling "oh my god, this is basically happening right now!!!" Not as blatant and (I don't know the word) as in the book, but essentially the same. The book is like now, but on steroids (to explain the word I'm missing). The divide/polarization, the police brutality, the pollution, corporations and exploitation, the government's overreach..... Etc, it's all here now.

It is getting absurd at this poin. Just get a laptop and call it a day

Hi all, I played the shadow of the tombs raider back in August and got to about 25% of it. Today I wanted to play it and thought I'd be able to just continue, but I was wrong. First, steam was saying the game was "out of sync" so I clicked it and it said it was "up to date". Launched the game and it's almost from scratch, like 1 %, so me panik. Looked into the saved data files and they have all these .dat files with one that is a cloud one. Looked online and found a post where someone said I can download my old saves and add them to the folder. Sure enough, downloaded the .dat files for the correct date, but they have reaaaaally long names that have the paths to where they were saved then at the end of each name was the correct name (blahblahblahlinuxsomethingsave206.dat for example). Tried two ways,

One: removed the existing .dat files and replaced them with the ones I downloaded (with their long names)and launched the game. Same thing. I was watching the new ones get created and take over the old ones. Nope, still 1% in the game.

Two: same as one, but I renamed the files to match the existing ones which I removed and replaced. So, save202.dat, save206.dat, profile.dat.....etc Same thing. Am I doing this wrong? How do I go about it? I really don't want to start over on the game. I run Linux, if that makes any difference. Thank you in advance.

I can't help but always worry that one day I'll need paper books. I don't know what it is, but I feel like I should start collecting paper books instead of every single book I have is on my Kobo. Which do you do? If you get paper books, is there a source that sells cheaper books. Books are kind of pricey where I look.

I have the permanently delete option enabled on the right click menu, and every time I want to delete something, this is how large it shows up. Here. Is there a way to make it smaller? This is unnecessarily large for a window with very little functionality. Is this a bug that I should report?

Even gamers nexus' Steve today said that they're about to start doing Linux games performance testing soon. It's happening, y'all, the year of the Linux desktop is upon us. ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ

Edit: just wanted to clarify that Steve from GN didn't precisely say they're starting to test soon, he said they will start WHEN the steam OS releases and is adopted. Sorry about that.

That I can't even redeem.lol
