Did you mean this to be a text to your neighbor?

[–] TachyonTele@lemm.ee 14 points 2 months ago

It's a cry for help

[–] ptz@dubvee.org 6 points 2 months ago (1 children)

NGL, when it was in the 60s the other day, I was tempted to. I seeded in early October and mowed it through late November (still above freezing) since it was growing and wanted to prune it to help it thicken.

You're a monster, Admiral. I'm glad you pulled yourself off the ledge though.

[–] ptz@dubvee.org 8 points 2 months ago

Hey, at least I've got an electric mower, lol, so the noise factor is limited.

[–] NeoNachtwaechter@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago

No I do not mow my lawn then.

[–] TheRealKuni@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Cause I kept putting it off through October and November and I want to mulch the leaves while I have a chance so it doesn’t kill all my grass like a couple years ago.

Ok, you get a pass. That's a valid reason.

You don't know what snow is?

You've never heard of it before? That's very strange. It's frozen water drops.

[–] kat_angstrom@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Still got snow, didn't melt all the way, only like, 20% melted. Gotta wait until it's warm next week before I can break out the lawnmower

[–] TachyonTele@lemm.ee 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

You people are crazy. Crazy!

[–] kat_angstrom@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

In my defense, the lawn ain't gonna mow itself.

[–] TachyonTele@lemm.ee 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

It's already dead. Leave it be

[–] kat_angstrom@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

It's alive under the snow, gloating vivaciously

[–] TachyonTele@lemm.ee 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Don't give in to it. Let it nutriate the soil

[–] kat_angstrom@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

It's been nutriating so much that it no longer has nutrientations remaining in the soil, and it has begun to sprout legs and walk. It needs to be reminded of its place.

[–] TachyonTele@lemm.ee 2 points 2 months ago

True. Don't let the lawn win.

[–] undefined@lemmy.hogru.ch 2 points 2 months ago

It doesn’t snow here ¯_(ツ)_/¯
